Just switched from a standard mannequin head to one with a real-feel scalp for my color practice
The texture difference is huge, especially for getting clean part lines. Has anyone else found a specific training tool that made a big jump in your technique?

My friend had the same thing happen when she got one of those hand mannequins for practicing nail art. She said it was a total game changer for her gel application speed. Trying to work on her own non-dominant hand was a mess, but the practice hand had the right nail curve and skin tension. She stopped flooding cuticles overnight because she could actually feel the resistance.

Yeah, @amyc22 nailed it. The right dummy hand gives you the muscle memory you can't get on yourself. Stops the gel from going everywhere.
