Warning: Our Procore schedule sync broke last Tuesday during a big concrete pour
The mobile app stopped updating live for our crew at the Denver site. Had to run paper sheets for two hours. Called support, they said a server update caused it. Anyone else get hit by that outage?

Honestly, is relying on live sync for a critical pour even smart? Tech always fails at the worst time. Paper sheets worked fine for decades. Having a backup plan ready, like pre-printed sheets in the trailer, is just basic job management. Blaming the app outage is easier than admitting your site wasn't prepared for a simple glitch.

My buddy's crew had a whole pour held up because their tablets wouldn't load the new specs. The foreman had to call the main office to have someone read the changes over the phone while he scribbled on a napkin. It was a total mess for hours. That's the day they started stashing paper copies in every job box.

Totally get that, we got burned once too. Now we keep a binder with the last good print of every sheet in the site trailer. Lets you keep going and just mark up changes by hand if needed.
