Our project bids went from a three day mess to done in four hours

Six months back, we were still doing takeoffs and estimates on paper and spreadsheets for a big apartment job in Boise. It was a nightmare with five of us in a room for days. We switched to a full software suite for estimating and the change was instant. Last week, we priced a similar sized job and had the whole bid ready before lunch. How did you guys handle the jump from manual to digital bids?

Switching to a full software suite made a huge difference for us too.

Right? @valwest it's like you finally stop fighting your tools all day. We held out forever thinking we could piece things together, but the time we wasted just making stuff talk to each other was insane. Now everything's in one place and it just flows. You don't realize how bad the old way was until you switch.
