Why does nobody talk about how 'debunked' just means they moved the goalposts?
I was scrolling through a thread about the moon landings last Tuesday and watched someone cite a NASA response as proof, then when the counter-argument got specific about film grain, they just switched to calling it a hoax anyway. It hit me that the word 'debunked' gets thrown around like a shield, but nobody ever checks if the debunk actually matches the original claim, you know? Has anyone else noticed that the same people who say 'do your research' ghost you the second you ask for their source on that?
