Watched two guys argue moon landing on YouTube last week, one used sources and one just yelled
I fell down a rabbit hole last week after a buddy sent me a moon landing debate video, and the difference between the two fellas was wild. The guy arguing it was faked kept saying "do your own research" but never once named a document, a photo number, or a single page he got anything from. The other guy pulled up the actual Apollo 11 mission report and walked through the fuel numbers piece by piece, even showing where the famous "lost telemetry" claim comes from and why it got twisted. I went in halfway suspicious myself and came out realizing I had been reading stuff from sites that just copy each other with no chain back to anything real. When I tried to check the yelling guy's sources, three of them linked to the same blog that linked back to itself, which is a circle, not proof. It bugs me because people share those clips like they settled something when nothing got checked at all. Do you all have a rule for spotting a debate that is just vibes versus one with actual documents, or am I overthinking it?
