The Denver airport tunnels: Did they really build those for baggage or something else?

We all know about the Denver International Airport conspiracy theories, right? I walked through those tunnels last week and it got me thinking. The official story is they're for moving luggage and people between concourses, which makes sense on paper. But 3 years ago someone pointed out the weird murals and the fact the tunnels go deeper than any airport needs. The other side says it's just paranoid talk and there's no evidence of any underground bunker. Where do you draw the line between clever design and actual hidden purpose?

Oh man, I felt the exact same way when I was there last year! The tunnels just feel way too big and empty for what they're supposed to be, and those murals are straight up creepy. I kept looking for doors that didn't look like they belonged there, you know?

Yo did you ever notice how the echo changes in different spots down there? I was walking through with my buddy and we started yelling just to hear the reverb, and it was totally different in one part near the back. We even tried to whistle the same tune in a few places and it sounded warped every time, like the tunnels were messing with us for fun.
