Stop calling every plane crash a 'lone wolf' event

I keep seeing people in here point to single plane crashes and scream 'lone wolf pilot' when there's obvious patterns. My cousin works dispatch at DFW and told me last month that three near-misses in one week got buried because they involved the same regional airline. We've got over 50,000 flights a day in the US alone, and some of these 'accidents' share mechanical failures tied to specific models. How many coincidences do we need before checking who's funding the safety reports?
