I finally realized I spent $200 on a 'truth' report that was just recycled forum posts

It was about a year ago, I got deep into watching videos on a certain global event. I saw an ad for a 'groundbreaking investigation' report, 50 pages for $200. I bought it, thinking it was real research. Turns out, it was just a bunch of stuff copied from old message boards and Reddit threads, with fancy formatting. I felt like a total sucker. The guy selling it didn't even write anything new, he just compiled other people's wild guesses. Has anyone else been tricked by these expensive 'insider' documents that are just repackaged nonsense?

I got my money back by reporting it as fraud to my credit card company.

Glad that worked for you @jordan653. Did the same thing last year. Key is calling your bank right away, don't wait. They usually put a temporary credit on your account while they check it out. Keep all your emails and receipts ready to send them. Makes the whole process way faster.
