Am I the only one who thought 'do your own research' meant reading the actual bill text and not a 40 minute YouTube video?
Spent two weeks last month arguing with my brother in law about a water bill rider in Toledo, only to realize at 1am that every source I'd been quoting traced back to the same anonymous blog post from 2019, so now I'm wondering how many other hills I've planted a flag on without ever cracking the source document myself.
