Digital vs physical for Nintendo Switch games - I finally picked a side

I compared loading times between my Zelda TOTK cartridge and my brother's digital copy. His loaded 10 seconds faster every time. Plus I lost my cartridge case twice last month. Digital is just easier for me now. Anyone else make the switch away from physical games?

My physical cart of Tears of the Kingdom took 47 seconds to load yesterday. My buddy's digital copy did it in 38. That ten second gap adds up when you're warping around Hyrule all night. Plus I like being able to sell games I'm done with. Bought Skyrim on cartridge for 20 bucks, played it for three months, sold it for 15. Can't do that with a download. Physical gives me options digital doesn't.

Oh man, that selling point is huge. I traded in my physical copy of Mario Odyssey toward a new game last year and basically got it free.

Actually digital is FASTER for me. I got Mario Odyssey digital on launch day and never had to leave my house. Plus with six Switch consoles in one house (everyone has their own), we share one purchase. Physical means buying six copies. That saves way more than any trade-in value.
