Am I the only one who mists the float with water before starting?
It keeps the concrete from sticking and gives a cleaner first pass. How do you handle it on dry days?

Totally, it's a game changer. I keep a spray bottle on hand for those really dry days.

Actually, a spray bottle might make things worse on dry days, @wells.morgan. It puts water on the surface but evaporates too fast to really help. You really need a proper humidifier to put moisture back in the air itself. That little spray bottle is probably better for your houseplants.
