Got a call from a grandma yesterday about her 'broken' mouse
She was using the mouse upside down, the ball was on top and she thought it was just a weird trackball. I showed her how to flip it and plug it in right and she laughed for like 5 minutes straight. Anyone else ever get a call that was way simpler than it sounded?

Isn't it funny how the simple stuff trips up even young people too, @xena_anderson?

I actually read a study that said like 30% of tech support calls are just people plugging things in wrong or using devices backwards. That grandma story reminds me of a friend's uncle who spent a week complaining his TV remote was broken - turns out he was pointing it at the cable box from the wrong angle and the batteries were in backwards too. People don't always think to check the simple stuff first, especially older folks who didn't grow up with all this tech. It's honestly kind of sweet when you think about it, they'd rather call for help than just mess around with the device themselves. Did the grandma give you cookies or anything as a thank you?
