TIL our office building has a hidden fiber junction box in the ceiling

Was tracing a network dropout last week and popped a ceiling tile in the break room. Found an old fiber junction box from 2008 nobody knew about, still patched into the main closet. Has anyone else stumbled into abandoned infrastructure like this?

Did you trace those fiber runs back to see if they connect to anything live, or just leave it as a dead relic? Found a few ghost loops myself in old buildings that still carried signal to rooms that didn't even exist anymore. Always worth checking if someone's paying for bandwidth they're not using.
