Honestly, the week my local shop in Dayton closed down felt like the end of an era.

We tried the local hardware store first and they had everything we needed. Their prices were actually pretty close, and they helped us load the truck. It felt better to keep the money in town if we could. Sometimes those big stores are the only option, but it's worth checking around.
