Just realized how much language choice pressure has increased
When I first tried coding a few years ago, the advice was just to pick one and start. Now, the beginner videos I watch spend half the time arguing about why their favorite language is the only real choice. It feels like you can't just learn Python without someone jumping in to say you should learn Rust instead. Makes starting way more stressful than it needs to be!

Ugh, the pressure is real.

Feel your pain on this one. When I started coding, the focus was on just getting your hands dirty with any language. Now every tutorial seems to push one language as the only real choice. It turns learning into a stressful debate instead of a fun start. That noise can scare off new people who just want to build something. The best language is still the one that lets you make things today.

My friend Tom quit coding after endless Java vs. C++ debates, echoing @karenw90's point about stressful noise.
