Blew $180 on a coaxial indicator thinking it would save me setup time
Used it maybe four times in six months because our tolerances just are not that tight on most jobs. The old edge finder and a test cut gets me within a thou anyway, so if you're a smaller shop running loose parts dont fall for the hype like I did. What indicators do you guys actually reach for daily?
Did you at least keep the box for it? I've got a drawer full of tools I bought for one job and never touched again, mostly because I forget they exist by the time the next job comes around. My go to is still a cheap .0005 dial test indicator that's been dropped like ten times and somehow still reads fine.
