The solar array across the street made me eat my words
Honestly, I used to think community solar projects were just feel-good fluff that would never pay off. But the 40-panel setup they put in behind the old gas station in Denton is now producing 22% of the downtown grid's daytime load, and I watched the neighborhood's average electric bill drop by $31 last quarter. What changed my mind was seeing the actual meter readouts on the public board, not just promises. Has anyone else had a concrete local project flip their stance like that?

Read a piece in the local paper about that same Denton setup. Said the payback period is way shorter than anyone guessed. Good to see numbers back up the hype for once.
