My old fridge died and I thought swapping it would take a day
The old one was from 2005 and I figured I'd just order a new energy star model. First, I had to find a place to take the old one for proper coolant removal, which meant a 30 mile drive to the county recycling center. Then the new fridge was backordered for three weeks. The whole thing, from breakdown to having a working fridge, took almost a month. Anyone else run into a huge delay trying to upgrade an appliance the right way?

My fridge was on backorder for almost two months last year. The whole supply chain thing is still a mess for appliances. I had to keep calling the store every week for updates. It felt like it was never actually going to arrive. Waiting that long for something you already paid for is the worst.
