Tried a new creosote remover spray against my old paste method on a tough job in Springfield

The spray cut my cleaning time in half on a chimney that hadn't been touched in probably ten years. It just dissolved the heavy stage three buildup way faster than the paste ever could. What's your go-to for a really nasty, long-neglected flue?

Which brand of spray did you go with? I've had some that work great and others that just run down the pipe too fast.

You ever try the one in the orange can? I forget the name. My buddy swears by it but I grabbed a can once and it was like spraying water, ran right off. Then I had this old job where nothing would stick, tried three different brands and finally just used a torch to dry it out first. Worked better than any spray honestly.

Saw a guy on a trade forum swear by the Rutland spray for those old, hard jobs. He said it clings better than most.
