Taller chimneys on new builds mean more ladder time, found a workaround.
Lately, all the new houses in my area have chimneys that are a good foot higher than before. It's turning simple sweeps into a full-on ladder workout. I started using an extension pole with a swivel head to reach from a lower angle. Saves me from hauling the big ladder around for every job. Funny how a small change in design can add so much time.
That's a solid point about the camera. Tech has gotten so cheap that a basic setup can save a ton of physical hassle. Straining your neck to look at a high screen or monitor all day is no joke. A simple webcam on a flexible arm accomplishes the same thing for very little cash. Honestly, more people should try this kind of ergonomic fix before they end up with real pain. It's one of those small changes with a big payoff.
