You really noticed a big difference? I used one of those digital ones for a while and honestly, it just made me overthink everything. My old dial thermometer worked fine for years, and the chicken always came out cooked. Sometimes more tech just gives you more numbers to stress about without actually making the food taste better. I went back to my simple one because it gets the job done without any fuss.

My buddy in college got a nasty case of salmonella from a dial thermometer reading wrong, so I trust the digital one. Terry_shah17 has a point about overthinking it, but I'd rather have the exact number.
