Paid $60 for a used PSU and it literally saved my dead PC

My old power supply died on a Tuesday night, no warning, just a pop and smoke. Local shop wanted $150 plus labor to replace it, which was more than my 8 year old build was worth. Found a used 650W unit on Facebook Marketplace for $60 from a guy who said he upgraded to a smaller case. Threw it in, wired everything up, and it fired right up on the first try. Ran a stress test for 2 hours and voltages held steady, so either I got lucky or that guy was honest. Anyone else ever bought a used PSU without getting burned, or should I expect trouble down the road?
