Just hit 2000 square feet of carpet laid in a single day on a wide open office job
We were doing a big open plan office in Tampa, just me and my helper. The boss said to just get it done, so we started at 6 AM and didn't stop. We used a power stretcher on every piece and had the seam tape ready to go. I looked at the invoice at the end and the math came out to over 2000 square feet. Has anyone else ever pushed that much carpet in one shift without a big crew?

That's a serious pace for just two guys on a power stretcher. Did you use a specific adhesive system to keep up with the seaming that fast? I've only seen numbers like that with a full crew and a kicker.
