Switched from palm nailers to a hammer for tight spots... took way too long to learn
I was working on some stair stringers last week and my palm nailer just would not fit in this one corner. Spent a good 20 minutes trying different angles, even took the battery off to see if it would squeeze in. Finally gave up and just used a regular framing hammer with a nail set. Took me maybe 3 minutes total. Felt like an idiot for not trying that sooner. Anyone else stubborn about switching tools when the job changes?

Used to be the same way. Kept trying to force my palm nailer into places it clearly wasn't meant to go. Finally watched a guy do a whole deck with just a hammer and nail set and realized I was making things harder than they had to be. Now I grab the hammer first for any tight corner and only pull out the nailer for wide open spaces. Saves a lot of swearing.
