Showerthought: Stretching every morning changed my work life.
I never stretched before starting my day. Then I tweaked my back hoisting a long beam. The ache lasted for weeks. My doctor said to try simple hamstring stretches. I did them for five minutes each morning. Now my back feels solid all day. My focus on cuts and measurements improved too.

Hoisting a long beam sounds like the universe's weirdest way to sell you on yoga. Guess I'll start stretching before I attempt any major lumber lifts.

Yoga's great, but sometimes you just need to lift the thing. Proper form beats stretching every time.
