Noticed something smart at a church renovation last Tuesday

I was helping a buddy with a church pew repair over in Oakdale and the crew had this simple marking system on the floor using colored chalk lines for every stud location. They used blue for regular studs, red for anything with wiring behind it, and yellow for plumbing areas. Took me a second to realize why they bothered, but after I hit a live wire with a nail gun once, I get it now. That kind of upfront planning probably saved them an hour of rework on a job that size. I started doing the same on my own cleanout projects and my mistakes dropped way down. Has anyone else borrowed tricks from commercial crews that just make sense for residential work too?
