Switching from LinkedIn to a niche job board actually got me interviews
I spent 8 months on LinkedIn applying to maybe 90 postings in the Cleveland area and heard back from 3 recruiters, all for roles that didn't match my pay range. Then I tried a specialized site for logistics coordinators, uploaded my resume on a Tuesday, and had 4 callbacks within 10 days. Has anyone else ditched the big platforms for industry-specific boards and seen way better results? That seems to go against everyone's advice I keep reading.
Thats exactly what happened to me when I stopped using the big sites and hit up a board for my field. Smaller pools mean the hiring managers actually look at your resume instead of just filtering you out.
