A random commenter said my tarp setup looked sloppy

They pointed out my ridgeline was too loose and the drip line went straight into my cooking area. Moved it 6 inches over last weekend and stayed bone dry through a storm. Anybody else had a small tweak that just clicked?

Yeah I had almost the same thing happen. My rain fly was sagging in the middle on one side and I kept getting damp sleeping bag condensation. Tightened the ridgeline an inch and angled the whole thing more downhill. Made a huge difference. Sometimes its just that tiny adjustment that separates a good setup from a great one.

Wait is condensation really that big of a deal though? I mean I've woken up with a damp bag before and honestly didn't really notice much difference.
