Pro tip: watch out for the new adhesive on Fuji X series sensor covers
Had a Fuji X-T3 come in last month with a dusty sensor, looked like a normal clean. Used the same method I always do, but the factory glue on the cover glass was way softer. After three tries, the whole cover shifted slightly, maybe half a millimeter. The owner brought it back this week and the photos showed a soft blur in the top left corner that wasn't there before. Has anyone else seen this change in the last year or so?

Read a thread on a camera forum a while back about this exact thing. Someone said the adhesive formula changed on newer models to be more eco-friendly or something. It doesn't set as hard, so it's way easier to disturb during a clean. That slight shift you saw would totally cause a blur in the corner. Makes me nervous to touch my own sensor now.

Sony's A7III and A7IV are the ones I've heard about most for that issue. Seems like the eco-friendly adhesive just doesn't hold up well to the solvents in those sensor swabs.

Check if your warranty covers sensor cleaning.
