Dowel pin snapped in my domino machine, had to hand-route 18 hinge mortises

My festool domino cutter pin gave out halfway through a kitchen job in Columbus last Tuesday. Had 18 cabinet doors already marked for hinges, so I grabbed my palm router and a jig, took about 4 hours extra. Anyone else had that little pin fail on them, or was mine just a lemon?

Check the pin set screw, mine backed out and caused the snap.
