Appreciation post: found out Blum soft-close hinges are only rated for 30,000 cycles

I was going through some old files from a factory tour I took last year in North Carolina, and stumbled on a spec sheet I grabbed. Turns out those Blum hinges everyone loves are only tested to last about 30,000 open-close cycles before they might fail. I did the math and that's maybe 10 years of daily use on a kitchen cabinet, which surprised me since I always thought they'd last forever. Has anyone else looked into the actual lifespan numbers on hardware like this?
