Warning: I thought the sewer scope inspection was a scam until ours found a cracked line under the driveway.

Our inspector in Phoenix showed us video of a 12-foot section that needed a $5,000 repair, which the seller had to cover before closing. Has anyone else had a major find on a scope they almost skipped?

I almost skipped ours too, and now I'm terrified of what we would have missed!

Seriously, never skip it. Our guy found a belly in the line, just a dip where waste pools. It was under the front yard. Seller had to dig it all up and replace it. That video was the only proof we had. Could have been a constant clogging nightmare.
