My 9 year old saw my bullet journal and asked why I draw the same little box 30 times

Last Tuesday my daughter watched me set up my November spread and asked why I draw a tiny square next to everything instead of just writing it down once, and I honestly did not have a good answer. She said it looks like I am making a checklist for a checklist, which stung because she is kind of right about my habit tracker. So now I am wondering, do you all actually use every box you draw, or are some of you just in it for the drawing part like me?
