I used to cram every task into monthly logs and it was a mess
For two years I packed my monthly log with appointments, habits, and to-dos all mixed together, which made it impossible to find anything quick. Last January I switched to a separate weekly spread just for tasks and kept the monthly log only for dates and events, and my whole system finally clicked. Has anyone else found a specific layout change that made a big difference for them?

Separate spreads for tasks vs events is the way to go

Broke my system down the same way actually. I used to keep everything mashed into one weekly spread and ended up missing appointments because they got buried under a pile of tasks. Took a cue from what @piper_green mentioned and split them out. Now I run a simple monthly calendar on the left page for events and deadlines, then a weekly task list on the right page for everything I need to get done. It feels cleaner and way easier to scan when I flip open my notebook. The big difference for me was forcing myself to keep the monthly spread strictly for dates and not let any to-dos sneak in there. You running your task list as a simple bullet list or do you use any kind of priority system?
