Spent 3 hours routing cables behind my desk last night for my new build

Got my Ryzen 7600 build all wired up but the back panel bulges like I stuffed a snake in there, anyone got tips for flattening out thick PSU cables without buying new sleeved ones?

Just tuck it in and force the panel shut. Nobody sees the back anyway.

Three months after I did exactly that on my own rig, the wires rubbed through the insulation and shorted out my taillight circuit at 2am in Ohio. Took me an hour on the side of I-75 with a flashlight and some electrical tape to even get back on the road. That panel exists for a reason, it keeps everything from vibrating loose and chafing. Forcing it shut just means you're setting yourself up for an electrical fire or a total failure down the line. Better to take the extra ten minutes to route the cables properly and make it fit clean. Not worth the headache for something that could leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere.
