Had to pick between a mesh front and glass panel for airflow

I went with the mesh front on my new build three weeks ago, and my CPU temps dropped about 8 degrees under load. Glass looks nicer but I'd rather not cook my components. Has anyone else sacrificed looks for better airflow and regretted it?

Mesh panels just make more sense for actual use.

Honestly, people act like a few degrees is gonna kill their PC. Tbh, most cases are fine with glass unless you're really pushing your hardware. Ngl, I've seen builds run fine with glass panels for years without any issues. It's not like your CPU is gonna melt into a puddle if you go for looks over airflow.
