Was dead set against meal planning for years. Finally gave in and I was totally wrong.
Tbh I always thought meal planning was for people with too much time on their hands. I'd just grab whatever at the grocery store and end up spending like $600 a month on takeout because nothing in my fridge matched up. My sister kept pushing me to try it, so I finally gave in 3 months ago. I sat down one Sunday and planned out 5 dinners for the week, spent $80 on groceries. I saved roughly $200 that first month alone. Has anyone else been stubborn about something that actually worked when you tried it?

Buddy of mine swore by eating cereal for dinner until his wife made him try a meal kit service. He complained for two weeks and now he's the one texting the group chat about his prep schedule.

Used to think prep was for food snobs, but that routine honestly saves my whole week.

Sunday is now my sacred kitchen day. The whole thing takes like 90 minutes, but then every lunch and dinner is just grab and go. My coworkers think I'm some kind of culinary wizard, but honestly it's just me and a pile of Tupperware. Once you get the rhythm down, it feels weird to go back to scrambling every night.
