Pro tip: my local library has way more than books, and it saved me $120 this month

I was at the downtown branch last week to pick up a novel and saw a sign for free museum passes. You can check them out for three days like a book. I got one for the science museum, which normally costs $24 per person. Took my family of five, so that's $120 we didn't spend. They also have free tool rentals and seed packets for gardening. It's a full resource center hiding in plain sight. Has anyone else found a good free program at their library that isn't just about reading?

My local branch has a seed library and a 3D printer you can book. It's not just books, @piper_green. They host free tax help and have a whole section of local history maps. Those late fees just fund more stuff like that. Makes the fine easier to swallow.
