My take on our block's tool sharing finally clicked

I used to buy every tool I needed, but borrowing from neighbors has saved me hundreds this year.

My cordless drill has been borrowed so much it probably paid for itself. Honestly wish more blocks did this.

The drill didn't actually make money, it just saved you a trip to the store. You'd have to charge people for that to count as paying for itself. It's still great not having to buy your own though.
