I was wrong about cheap Harbor Freight jack stands
Everyone always says never trust the cheap jack stands from Harbor Freight, and I bought into that for years. Then my buddy Tim showed up with a set holding his Ranger up for two weeks while he did the whole front end, no issues at all. I picked up a pair for $45 total and used them on my 99 Civic last month, they held rock solid even on my sloped driveway in Denver. Is it just luck of the draw, or has anyone else had good luck with the cheaper ones?

Denver concrete is pretty solid, so the Harbor Freight saved you, but my driveway in Texas says otherwise.
