That's a solid deal for sure. Phoenix heat probably cracked that old one clean through, happens all the time out here. Thirty five bucks and two hours beats paying a shop six hundred any day of the week. Not bad for a junkyard find, right?

My buddy Mike tried to pull that off with his old F150 down in Tucson. Got a used radiator from some place off I-10 for like forty bucks, figured he'd save big. Spent three hours fighting with rusted bolts and busted knuckles, finally got it in, filled it up with coolant, and the thing had a hairline crack he didn't even see. Leaked all over his driveway within ten minutes. Ended up having to buy another one anyway, so he basically paid twice and wasted a whole Saturday. Not saying it's a bad idea, just gotta really check those junkyard parts before you commit.
