Ikea mirror frames turned a basic hallway into something decent for $24

Last month I stopped at an Ikea in Austin and picked up four plain ribba frames, then popped the glass out and glued cheap mirrors from a craft store into the backs. The hallway had zero character before, just a long white wall, and now the light bounces around and it feels twice as wide. Anyone else found a way to use frame backs or other thrift store parts for a quick hallway upgrade?
