Vent: took me 3 trips and $11 to figure out dried beans are cheaper than canned, not the other way around
Everyone at my Phoenix grocery keeps grabbing the 89 cent cans, but a $1.29 bag of pintos made 6 meals and I only figured that out after my crockpot batch turned out fine, so which dried bean is the one that actually tastes bad enough to skip?

Did you try navy beans yet? Those were the only ones I could not save no matter how long I soaked them.
