Bought a $400 laser level for a big job in Phoenix and it paid for itself in two days.

Used to spend hours setting up string lines, now I just click a button. Anyone else find that one tool that changed their whole routine?

Man, I was totally that guy who said a good string line was all you ever needed. Thought those fancy tools were a waste of cash. Used a buddy's laser on a kitchen remodel last month and wow, it just kills the old way for speed. That kind of time saved on a big job is a no brainer, lol. Makes you wonder what else I've been stubborn about.

Took me two blown brick walls before I caved and bought a laser level, now I never start a job without it.
