Update: My old greenhouse watering routine was stressing my succulents
I kept losing jade plants in my Denver sunroom until a nursery owner told me, 'They're not thirsty, they're drowning.' Anyone else have a plant care habit they had to unlearn?

Tbh I was doing the same thing with my snake plants for years. Ngl it took a crispy leaf edge for me to finally check the roots and realize they were sitting in mud. Overwatering is such a common trap, especially when you're trying to be a good plant parent. Now I wait until the pot feels light as a feather before I even think about giving them a drink.

Yeah @riverp37, same here. Killed my first one with kindness before I learned they basically thrive on neglect.
