I finally went to the new greenhouse in Springfield and the vibe was totally different
It was packed with people just taking pictures of the plants, not really looking at the tags or reading anything. I saw one woman spend ten minutes trying to get a photo of a Monstera leaf for her phone background. Is this just how people enjoy plants now, or is it kind of missing the point?

You mentioned people just taking pictures and not reading the tags. I used to get really annoyed by that, like they were just there for the look. But then I saw my niece do it and she ended up buying the same plant later because she loved the photo so much. Maybe it's just a different starting point.

That's a good point about photos being a gateway. Sometimes the visual pull gets someone in the door, and the learning comes later. Makes you wonder if we judge the quick snapshot too harshly.
