Tried a $35 magnetic level after years of eyeballing, kicking myself now

My foreman kept pushing me to grab one of those magnetic digital levels, said I was wasting time with the old bubble style. Finally caved last week on a job out in Gary, and it caught a 0.3 degree slope on a pipe run I would have sworn was straight. Anyone else have a tool they resisted for ages then wished they bought sooner?
