Thought I didn't need a respirator on outdoor jobs until a wind shift in Baton Rouge proved me wrong.

Respirators are cheap insurance no matter where you're working. Wind can switch directions in a heartbeat.

Ha, yeah you're not wrong. Nothing like tasting sawdust for 3 days straight because you thought you were fine for "just one more cut." I'm pretty sure my lungs have their own OSHA complaint at this point. Plus it's always funny when someone tries to wave away the dust cloud and then starts coughing like they're dying. But hey, at least the wind changing directions is a great way to check if your buddy's respirator actually fits right or if they're just pretending.
