That one Thursday night when our Catan group hit a 4 hour deadlock
Back in 2019, my regular Tuesday group had a session that just went off the rails at Dave's apartment in Arlington. We played two games of Catan and both ended with everyone blocked, no one could roll a 7 or trade for what they needed, so we just sat there for like 45 minutes staring at bricks. It was frustrating but also kind of hilarious, we started making up house rules on the spot just to break the gridlock. Has anyone else had a game night where the board just completely froze up on you and you had to invent weird rules to finish?
