I finally watched the first season of Severance in one weekend

I kept seeing people call it a slow burn, but I think they're wrong. The first three episodes set up everything you need to know. I binged all nine episodes from Friday night to Sunday, and the pacing felt perfect. The show drops you right into the weird office rules and the mystery of the outside world. Has anyone else felt like the 'slow start' talk is just off?

People call it slow because they're used to shows that explain everything upfront. Severance makes you figure out the rules as you go, same as the characters. That's not slow, it's just not holding your hand.
